GoPro has introduced Hero+ Affordable Action camera which should be a decent upgrade from the basic Hero camera. The Hero+ action camera is priced at $199 and will be available retailers and GoPro.com starting from October 4. Let’s find out the upgrades that Hero+ has brought with it.
The all new GoPro Hero+ action camera now supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 which will enable users to access the controls via companies official mobile app and smart remote. The Hero+ can now record videos in 1080p clarity with 60fps and 8-megapixel still and time-lapse images and burst images at 5 frames per second. the action camera has waterproof protection up to 40 meters. The QuickCapture features power-up and starts recording videos with the press of a single button, the HiLight Tag feature lets users mark key moments while recording. Key highlight of the device should be the SuperView™ that captures the world’s most immersive wide-angle field of view pictures. The intelligent low-light mode adjusts frame rates for optimal low-light captures as the Hero+ comes with built-in microphone.
