Micromax has also launched the Fire 4G and Play 4G smartphones along with Blaze 4G smartphone that actually went on for sale yesterday. The Fire 4G smartphone was earlier announced at the MediaTek event and it is officially launched by Micromax today. Let’s see the specifications of the device.
The Fire 4G smartphone sports a 4.5-inches FWVGA(854*480) IPS display and is powered by MediaTek MT6735M Soc clocked at 1GHz Quad-Core 64-bit processor with Mali T720 GPU. There is 1GB of Ram and 8GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB. On the camera side, the device features a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel selfie camera for selfies and video calls. The Fire 4G smartphone runs on android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi 802.11b/g/n. A 1,850mAh runs the show in the background. Priced at Rs.6,999 same as Blaze 4G.
Canvas Play 4G smartphone on the other hand sports a bigger display with 5.5-inches HD(1280*720) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400/410Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 306GPU. There is 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion. On the camera department, the device features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual SIM, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The battery on the device is 2,820mAh battery unit. Priced at Rs.12,499. Canvas Fire 4G and Canvas Play 4G smartphones come with Double data offer from Airtel 4G.
