Make in India is currently the hottest topic been discussed, especially smartphone manufacturers are sketching their plans to set up their plants here in India, Companies like Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo have already started their work. New to join the list is Asus, the company has officially announced that it will manufacture their smartphones here in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, India in association with Foxconn.
Like few other smartphone companies Asus has also partnered with Foxconn-A popular contract manufacturer in China and is now growing big in India as well. Asus is gearing up to manufacture Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Go smartphones with over 150,000 units per month by the end of the current financial year which will suffice the sales need upto 80%. List of other smartphone include Vivo, Sony, HTC, Lenovo, Motorola, Karbonn, Micromax, Celkon, Gionee.
