Huawei Honor Play 5 with 4000mAh battery Announced in China For $157


Huawei is one of the top mobile manufacturer in China, today the company has announced the Honor Play 5 smartphone in their honor series of phones is affordable smartphones with a massive 4000mAh battery on board. The device is priced at 999 Yuan (US$ 157 / Rs. 10,196 approx.)  but is now available at an offer price of 899 Yuan (US$ 141/Rs. 9,175 approx.)  It is now available to order from vmall and will go on sale in China starting from October 16th. Huawei Honor Play 5 smartphone sports a 5-inches HD(1280*720) IPS display. Powered by MediaTek MT6735Soc clocked at 1.3GHz 64-bit Quad-Core processor with Mali T720 GPU for all the graphical needs. There is 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB which should be just fine for all the storage needs. Runs on Android 5.1 with Emotion UI 3.1 on top.


On the camera side, The Honor 5 smartphone features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera OmniVision BSI sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 6p lens,  28mm wide-angle lens. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n,  GPS, OTG. The device packs in a massive 4,000mAh battery with power saving technology that will offer 24 hours battery life even with 10% charge, company also claims that the device will give battery life up to 3.75 days of battery life with average use and up to 2 days of battery life even with heavy use.
