Huawei has announced a brand new smartphone under the Honor series and the smartphone in talks is the Play 5X that features a Fingerprint sensor. The device comes in two variants, one with 3GB of Ram and the other with 2GB Ram both these features a 1080p display. The 3GB variant costs around 1399 Yuan (US$ 220) while the 2GB will be yours for 999 Yuan (US$ 157), both these are available in China and ships from November 3rd.
Honor Play 5X Specifications:
The device sports a 5.5-inches FHD(1920*1080) IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615Soc clocked at 1.5 GHz Octa-core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. There is 3GB RAM / 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and an SD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. Runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with EMUI 3.1 on top.
On the camera side, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle 5P lens and on the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. There is a Fingerprint sensor on the rear side and Box speakers with Smart PA audio chip. There is a 3000mAh battery
