Meizu has announced the Blue Charm smartphone that runs on Alibaba’s YunOS and the device is built out of Metal and is an affordable smartphone with decent specifications onboard. Meizu Blue Charm is priced at 1099 Yuan (US$170 approx) for the 16GB version while the 32GB model costs 1299 Yuan (US$204 approx.) will go on sale from November 2nd and is right now up for Pre-order. The device sports a 5.5-inches FHD(1920*1080) LTPS display with 2.5D glass and has a T2X-1 glass protection. Powered by MediaTek Helio X10 Soc clocked at 2GHz Octa-Core 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU. There is 2GB of Ram and 16/32GB internal storage and an SD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. Runs on Alibaba’s YunOS with Flyme U.I v5 on top.
On the camera side, the device features a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, pDAF for quick focusing. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and the secondary SIM slot can either be used as a Micro SD card slot or as the Secondary SIM Slot(Hybrid SIM technology). A massive 3140mAh battery powers the device. Meizu Blue Charm Metal comes in White, Gold, Grey, Blue and Pink colors.
