Meizu M2 With 5-inch Display, 4G LTE Launched in India For Rs.6,999


Meizu has launched the M2 smartphone in India just as we expected, M2 is a stripped version of M2 note. M2 was initially launched in July in China and the company has finally made the device available for Indian markets. M2 is priced at Rs.6,999 you need to register to the sale on 12th October via Snapdeal, do note the registrations will close at 4 pm on 11th October. Let us dive into the specifications of the device.


Meizu M2 Specifications:

The M2 smartphone sports a 5-inches HD(1280*720) GFF full lamination display which apparently reduces the reflection and improves the quality of the display and has AGC Dragontrail glass protection. Powered by MediaTek MT6735Soc clocked at 1.3GHz 64-bit Quad-Core processor with Mali T720 GPU for all the graphical needs. There is 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB which should be just fine for all the storage needs.

On the camera side, The Meizu M2 smartphone features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5p lens, the camera glass is being protected with AGC Dragontrail glass so that it can withstand sudden drops or any sort of scratches. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.  The camera sports some decent features like Zero-delay shooting and the recent addition “FotoNation beautifying”. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Hybrid Dual SIM-meaning you can either use the second SIM slot as memory card slot or secondary SIM, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz),  GPS / GLONASS. The Meizu M2 runs on Android 5.1 with Flyme OS 4.5 overlayed on the top, Flyme OS is slowing evolving with the recent updates the company is trying hard to fix many issues and it will soon join the Elite Custom U.I list.
