Google has officially announced the Android 6.0 update will be rolled to the nexus smartphones starting from next week, including the Android one smartphones. HTC has already announced the list of smartphones that will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in the coming day and today Motorola Announces List of Phones That Will Get 6.0 Update.
The list includes the Moto X (2nd Gen, 3rd Gen, Style and Play), Moto G (2nd and 3rd Gen), DROID Turbo, Moto MAXX and Moto Turbo. But sadly the Moto-E(1,2nd), Moto G(first) goes missing from the list as of now. Motorola is going to drop down some their apps like Moto assist, Moto migrate as Android M(6.0) offers these functions by default and will be of no point including them says Motorola. In Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, Motorola will club all the display settings under single roof including the Moto display functionality, so if you need to tweak any of them you will have to go to Moto app and make the required settings. Moto display now gets music controls by default. Nexus 6 will be the first among all the Motorola devices to get the update since the roll out will be done by google itself. Motorola says they are working on providing the updates very fast and the dates for the roll out will be announced in the coming weeks.
