OnePlus X Powered by Snapdragon 801Soc, 4G LTE Launched in India


OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus X smartphone that was on the news for quite some time now. Just like any other OnePlus device the device will be available via and as per the pricing goes, the device is priced at Rs.16,999 and the Limited edition OnePlus ceramic version will cost you Rs.22,999. The device won’t be available for open sale you need to have an Invite to purchase the device. Do note the Onyx variant is different from Ceramic version and the price difference is around Rs.6000

The device sports a 5.0-inches FHD(1920*1080) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801Soc clocked at 2.5GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 330 GPU. There is 3GB of Ram and 16GB and 32GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. Runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Oxygen OS on top of it.

There is a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and can record videos on full HD 1080p. While the front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Dual SIM, the second slot can either be used as SIM slot or memory card.  The device comes with glass body on front and back which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. While on the side the device features a metal frame giving it a tough look. A 2525mAh battery is on board.

No matter how great the specifications are, the invite system is always a pain and it shouldn’t be that hard to get the device but then company says the invite system is only for first month and then it will be open for sale.
