Panasonic has launched the Toughpad FZ-Y1 tablet which is running on Windows 8.1. The attention grabbing feature of this tablet is the massive 20-inches 4K display and, of course, the pricing of the same which is Rs. 2.4 lakhs here in India. Let’s have a look at the tablet and see what’s in it that costs you so much.
As said above, the Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 sports a 20-inches 4K (3840 x 2560 pixels) 10 point Multi-touch display accounting to a pixel density of 230PPi, the display also comes with scratch resistant glass. Powered by Intel Core i5-5300U clocked at 2.3 GHz vPro processor and a 3MB Intel Smart Cache.Intel HD 5500 handles all the graphical requirements. There is 8GB of DDRL SDRAM and 256 GB Solid State Drive, which is expandable up to 64GB via SD card. Runs on Windows 8.1 Pro which might be upgraded to win 10.
On the camera side, there is an HD (720p) Front camera. Connectivity features include Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Version 4.0 + EDR Class 1, USB 3.0, Gigabit LAN, HDMI 2.0 (4K), Mini DisplayPort, Port replicator connector. A 4770mAh battery is on board for all the battery requirements.
