UMi has announced a brand new smartphone that company claims to be the world’s most secure smartphone. For just $179 the company is offering a metal body, Fingerprint sensor and Iris scanner as well. Let’s have a look at the specifications of the device in detail.

The device sports a 5.5-inches FHD(1920*1080) display that accounts to a pixel density of 403 PPI, the smartphone features a monoblock design as it is completely made of a single piece of aircraft grade aluminum. Powered by MediaTek MT6753Soc Octa-Core processor with Mali T720GPU. There is 3GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card slot for memory expansion up to 64GB. Runs on Android 5.1 out of the box but the company also says that the smartphone will support various custom ROM’s like Cyanogen, Miui, etc via Rootjoy app.
On the camera side, the device features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with Dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and on the front, there is an 8-megapixel with an LED flash for better shots in low-light. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Dual Nano SIM, but among the two SIM slots one is hybrid slot meaning you can either use it as SIM slot or as a MicroSD card slot. WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. A 3,1000mAh battery is on board for all battery requirements.
