Asus Reveals the List of Devices That Will Get Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update


Asus has finally announced the list of smartphones that will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update which was unveiled by Google during I/O and rolled out recently. Companies like HTC, Motorola, Sony have already announced the list and now its Asus turn to come out and share the detail. So allow us to reveal the list for you.

The list of Asus smartphones to get the update are, The PadFone S (PF500KL), the ZenFone Selfie ZD551KL, Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML andZE551ML), the Zenfone 2 Deluxe ZE551ML, and the most confusing ZenFone 2 Laser: ZE500KG, ZE500KL, ZE550KL, ZE600KL, and ZE601KL variants will get the update. Before you come to the conclusion assuming that your Asus smartphone will get the Android 6.0 Update, have a quick look at the list again as the naming of Asus smartphones is confusing. ZE551ML is listed twice don’t think it as a typo mistake its the naming of Asus that’s creating unnecessary confusion.

That’s it, the company has not revealed any timeline about when the update will start rolling out, but we expect the company will be sharing the roll out the timeline in near future. For now the company has not announced Android 6.0 update for any last year Zenfones so it’s a safe bet not expecting an update for those smartphones.
