HTC One X9 was in news for some time now, while there was anticipation about the device being a flagship device, but popular leakster Evleaks later confirmed it as a mid-range now with TEENA listing confirms the same detail and we also get to see the first look and specifications of the smartphone so let’s get into that.
From the images, the device looks to be featuring a metal body and the rear camera strip resembles that of Nexus 6p featuring rear camera sensor along with Dual-Tone LED flash. Up front, the device sports a 5.5-inches FHD(1920*1080) IPS display and is powered by 2.2GHz Octa-Core processor but the chipset maker is unknown, but our best guess will be MediaTek. The device features 2GB Ram and 16GB internal storage and an SD card slot for memory expansion upto 1TB.
Though the listing says the device runs on Android 5.1.1, but we can expect Android 6.0 Marshmallow update very soon considering HTC has already launched One A9 that runs Android 6.0 out of the box. On the photography side, the device features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with Optical Image stabilization or OIS. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel fixed focus selfie camera for video calls and selfies. HTC’s traditional BoomSound speakers can be found on the front and the textured power on/off button is attractive. One X9 measures 153.2 x 75.9 x 7.99 mm, weighs 174 grams. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
HTC is slated to launch the device early 2016 even before the M10 flagship(if that’s they are naming) comes out, will you be buying the One X9? Let us know down below.
