LG has introduced the Urbane Watch 2nd Edition with LTE back in October and the company has finally shared the details regarding the roll-out of the Urbane watch, the company has mentioned that the smartwatch will roll out worldwide officially starting this month. The 2nd Edition Urbane Watch is the first smartphone to come with LTE connectivity. The smartwatch comes in Space Black, Opal Blue, Luxe White and Signature Brown colors while the pricing will be announced locally during the time of Sale.
LG watch urbane sports 1.3-inches(480*480) P-OLED display with pixel density of 348 PPI and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition is Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, Ram has been increased from 512MB to 768MB, 4GB internal storage. The smartwatch sports 3 buttons to the right side which will give quick access to contacts, LG Health and apps list, etc. 2nd edition Urbane watch sports a bigger battery of capacity 570mAh. The smartwatch runs on Android wear with 4G LTE connectivity built-in making it the first watch to support 4G LTE though the watch will work with IOS phones, but the cellular connectivity will differ on Android and IOS. LG Urbane provides fitness-related features such as heart rate tracking, workout tips and stress level monitoring and more. The IP67 rating makes it waterproof upto 30 minutes. Sensors onboard include 9-Axis (Gyro/Accelerometer/Compass), Barometer, PPG, GPS.
