Motorola has just announced Moto G Turbo edition in Mexico, the turbo edition is a pumped up version of the Moto G-2015. The all new Moto G Turbo will go on sale starting from November 13th, 2015. The Moto G Turbo is priced at $283 (Around Rs 18,600) but from what we know, the handset will be exclusive to Mexican markets and Motorola has no plans to launch it globally.
Moto G Turbo Specifications:
The Moto G Turbo sports 5-inches FHD(1080*1920) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. A significant upgrade over the 720p display of the original Moto G-2015. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615Soc Octa-Core processor with Adreno 405GPU. There is 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card slot with memory expansion upto 128GB. Runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, but the device might get the Android 6.0 Update in future.
On the camera side, the device features a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash, f2.0 aperture and can record 1080p videos. While on the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera for selfies and video calls. The device boasts a 2470mAh battery with turbocharging which is obvious from the device name. The device comes with IPX7 rating making it waterproof upto 3 feet of water for upto 30 minutes. Though we do not have global roll out but we will try to update it soon.
