Xiaomi has announced their second tablet-The Mi Pad 2 that features metal body design instead of the Plastic build on the first gen. The Mi pad 2 is much thinner than Mi Pad 1 with 6.95mm thickness compared to the 8.55mm and Weighs in at 322 grams. The tablet will be available in Dark Grey and Champagne Gold and is priced at 999 Yuan or roughly Rs 10,300 for 16GB variant while the 64GB variant is priced at 1,299 Yuan or roughly Rs 13,500. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 Specifications:
The tablet sports a 7.9-inches 2K (2048×1536 pixels) IPS display with pixel density accounting to 326ppi. Mi Pad 2 is powered by Intel Atom x5-Z8500 clocked at 2.24GHz Quad-Core processor with 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage and another variant with 64GB. The Mi Pad 2 will be available in two variants, one running Windows and another with Android Lollipop with Miui 7. The variant running Windows will be available later this year.
On the camera side, the device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and USB Type-C port. A 6,190mAh battery with up to 648.8 hours on standby mode claims company.
