Xiaomi Mi 5 Surfaces in a new Short Video and Press Renders

Xiaomi Mi 5 is probably the most anticipated and long-awaited flagship smartphone, we have posted about the leaked specifications that were listed on Oppomart a while ago and today we get to see new press renders showcasing the smartphone in various colors and a new short video. The video was released on Yoku which is Chinese’s Youtube, the video demos the smartphone’s front display as we see it fixed to a wooden dock. A user can be seen operating the flagship smartphone and seems to be demoing the apps and other functionalities, as this is a leaked video we assume there will be an extended version of the same video during its official launch.

Talking about the press renders, the smartphone is seen in various colors including black, white, pink variants. The home button is said to be world’s shortest button that comes equipped with a Fingerprint sensor on board. Other specifications include The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 5.5-inches QHD (1440×2560) display that should probably have Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and is Powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 Chipset clocked at 2.5Ghz Octa-Core 64-bit processor with 4GB LP-DDR4 Ram.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will most probably be available in different storage options depending on the markets, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and the 128GB storage options. Other specifications include a 20-megapixel autofocus rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. A massive 3,800mAh battery on board which should support theQualcomm Quick Charging 3.0. Some of the other specification we know so far include, Xiaomi Mi 5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Stay tuned
