The device is priced at Rs.8,499 and is said to be available from December 15th via Amazon.in and Mi.com/in store from 10:00 AM. Let’s look at the specification of the Redmi Note Prime.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor along with Adreno 306 GPU for graphical use. There is 2GB of Ram and 16GB internal storage with an SD card for memory expansion of up to 32GB. The device still runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Miui 7 overlayed on top. We are still not sure why Xiaomi is sticking with KitKat.
On the camera side, there is a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
