Asus Zenfone Max Launching in India on 4th January 2016

Asus India has finally teased on their social media channels that it will be launching the Zenfone Max in India on January 4th 2016. The device was initially announced and displayed at the Zen Festival back in August 2015 and today the official teaser shed some light on the launch. A video promo was posted last month that showcased most of the specifications and a mammoth 5000mAh battery on board which according to the company will last for over  week. Let’s look at the specifications of the Zenfone Max.


The device sports a 5.5-inches HD(1280*720) IPS display that come with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 306 GPU. There is 2GB of Ram and 16GB Rom but can be further expanded via an SD card slot. The Zenfone Max runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Zen U.I on top.

On the camera side, there is a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and Laser autofocus. Up front, we have a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with selfie panorama feature. Connectivity features include LTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The key highlight of the device is the 5,000mAh battery that provides up to 37.6 hours talk time, video playback time of up to 22.6 hours, Wi-Fi web browsing for up to 32.5 hours, or a stand-by time of up to 38 days.
