Asus has finally launched the Zenfone Zoom smartphone that mainly focus on camera part in India, the device was initially announced last yea at CES 2015 along with Zenfone 2, though the Zenfone 2 was launched in India last year, the Zenfone Zoom made its official entry to India at an event in Agra today. The device is said to be available exclusively via Flipkart for a price of Rs.37,999. Let’s look at the specifications of the Zenfone Zoom in detail.


The Asus Zenfone Zoom is Powered by Intel Atom Z3590Soc clocked at 2.5Ghz Quad-Core processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU. The device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD(1920X1080) display with Corning Gorilla glass 4 protection.

There is 4G of LPDDR3 of Ram and128GB internal memory with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. The Asus Zenfone Zoom still runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Zen U.I on top.

On the camera side which is the key USP of the device, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, 3X optical zoom, f/2.7-4.8 aperture, Laser Autofocus and Real Tone flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC. There is a 3000mAh battery on board with ASUS BoostMaster fast charging technology.

The company is also including a package that will have the Zenfone Zoom, Zen flash, and Italian tripod for Rs.39,999.
