Asus has launched the ZenWatch 2 in India which initially went official at the Computex in June 2015 and later it went on for sale in the USA in October 2015. Today the company has officially launched it in the Indian markets. The Asus Zenwatch 2 will be available in two variants one with 1.63-inches display and the other with 1.43-inches display, Asus has mentioned that both these variants will be available in India. The 1.63-inches variant with silver case and rubber brown strap is priced at Rs.11,999 and the same model with Gunmetal Case with Navy Blue Leather Strap is priced at Rs.14,999. The 1.45-inch Silver Case with Grey Leather Strap is priced at Rs. 14,999. These smartwatches are available in India via Flipkart.
Asus ZenWatch 2 Specifications:
The bigger Asus ZenWatch 2 sports a 1.63-inches (320*320) AMOLED display with 400mAh battery and the smaller one sports a 1.45-inches(240*240) AMOLED display with 300mAh battery onboard. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor with 512MB Ram and 4GB eMMC storage. Zen Watch 1 had an IP57 certification which is now bumped to the IP67 rating on the new ZenWatch 2. The Smart watches run on latest version of Android wear and will be compatible with smartphones running Android version 4.3 or upper and IOS. The new “Wellness” app pre-installed to track health and fitness, the Face Land app allowing users to change the face of the watch on their own.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi b/g, Single mic and has 6-axis (gyrometer and accelerometer) Sensors.
