Though there were rumors and reports which suggested Xiaomi or Samsung devices to be the first smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 820Soc, Qualcomm has officially confirmed Letv Le Max Pro to be the first smartphone out of the 80 devices in line is the first one to feature the best processor on board. Letv Le Max also becomes the first device to feature Qualcomm Sense ID fingerprint technology. Unlike the regular capacitive fingerprint sensor, the Qualcomm Sense ID fingerprint scanner can be integrated onto the phone’s screen. Though there will be no direct contact with the fingerprint scanner the Sense ID technology can detect your finger accurately and instantly. However, the Letv Le Max Pro features a traditional scanner on the rear side.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 also comes with 802.11ad multi-gigabit Wi-Fi and X12 LTE modem which is capable of giving 600MBPS download speeds. As this was the Qualcomm’s official briefing we still have to wait for Letv to officially announce rest of the specifications and pricing of the device.
According to the recent rumors and reports, The Letv Le Max Pro sports a 6.33-inches Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820Soc Quad-Core processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. There is 4GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal memory and there won’t be any MicroSD card slot for further memory expansion. The device runs on Android 6.0 Lollipop based EUI U.I overlaid.
Talking about the key feature of the smartphone, the camera on this is a 21-megapixel rear camera which is Sony IMX230 Sensor, Dual LED flash, OIS, and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, we have a 4-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G LTE with Voice Over LTE, 802.11ad, Tri-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and A 3400mAh battery is on board.
