Panasonic has introduced the Toughpad FZ-Q1 tablet at CES 2016, the Toughpad series tablet generally sports massive display and come with rugged body and new to join the list is the FZ-Q1 tablet that sports a 12.5-inches Full HD display. The tablet is said to be available starting from March 2016 for a price of $999 for the basic model and $1699 for the performance model, the Spill resistant, a backlit keyboard should be purchased separately. Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Q1 Tablet sports a 12.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Multi-touch display with an Anti-reflective screen. As mentioned above, the tablet comes in two different models, the Standard model is powered by Intel Celeron N2807 Processor clocked at 1.58GHz (Turbo boost up to 2.16 GHz), there is 4GB of SDRAM and 64GB eMMC and 128GB SSD storage. While the Performance model is powered by Intel Core i5-4302Y vPro Processor clocked a 1.6GHz (Turbo Boost up to 2.3GHz), there is 8GB of SDRAM and 128GB eMMC (standard) and 256GB SSD storage. Though the tablet runs on Windows 8.1 Pro it can be upgraded to Windows 10.
On the camera side, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.0, USB3.0, Micro SDXC. Optional SmartCard reader, Optional Contactless SmartCard/RFID HF reader. The company is promising Up to 9 hours of battery life.
