Acer has unveiled the Liquid Jade 2 smartphone at the ongoing MWC 2016 event; it is the flagship device for Acer that features similar specifications of the Acer Jade Windows-powered variant that was announced during CES 2016 except for the OS the rest of the specifications do remain the same. Acer hasn’t officially mentioned the pricing and availability of the Liquid Jade 2 but said that the pricing and availability will vary depending on the region once it’s been made available. Let’s quickly look at the specifications of the Acer Liquid Jade 2.

Acer Liquid Jade 2 SPECIFICATIONS:

The Acer Liquid Jade 2 sports a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) AMOLED display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection and the screen comes with 176-degree wide viewing angle. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa-Core processor with Adreno 418 GPU. The company is said to have used the advanced cooling system that will dissipate the heat generated by the processor just like the one we have seen on Jade Primo. It packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory internal memory which can be expandable via a MicroSD card up to 1TB, you can also use the MicroSD card slot as Secondary SIM. The device runs on Android OS out of the box but the Android version is unknown for now.

On the camera side, the Acer Liquid Jade 2 rocks a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and it can record video at 4K resolution. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls, the front camera can also record 1080p videos. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port for fast data transfers. 3000mah battery is on board for all the battery needs.
