ARCHOS 50d Oxygen announced just before the MWC event; the 50D Oxygen is the companies latest mid-ranger smartphone that comes with 5-inch Full HD 1080p display, 4G LTE connectivity and tried and tested MediaTek’s MT6753 chipset. The Archos 50D Oxygen is priced at $187 and will be available in Black with Gold color choice; the company will showcase the smartphone at the MWC 2016 event which will kick-start from February 22nd in Barcelona and will roll out sometime in May 2016. The ARCHOS 50d Oxygen sports a 5-inches Full HD(1920*1080) IPS full lamination display and is powered by as said above, MediaTek MT6753 Soc clocked at 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit processor with 450MHz Mali T720 GPU. There is 2GB Ram and 16GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB. The ARCHOS 50d Oxygen runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop right out of the box.
Talking about the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED, can record videos in 1080p at 30fps. While on the front we have a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Dual SIM with Dual standby, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. There is a 2,100mAh battery on board for battery needs. Design-wise, you can see the 3.5MM audio jack on the top while the MicroUSB post is shifted down the bottom. While the primary camera is designed in square accompanied with LED flash.
