LG has taken the wraps off the two brand new smartphones under the new X series ahead of the MWC event starting later this month. The LG X screen features that Always on secondary ticker display as seen on the V10 smartphone wherein you can access the app shortcuts, attend calls without disturbing the main screen and many more. While the X cam smartphone features a 13-megapixel+5-megapixel dual rear cameras which according to the company can provide advanced camera experience on a smartphone. The X cam smartphone will be available in Titan Silver, White, Gold and Pink Gold colors and the X screen comes in Black, White and Pink Gold colors, both these smartphones will be made available in the major markets starting from March 2016. LG will showcase these smartphones at MWC 2016 along with the flagship the G5. Let’s look at the specifications of these smartphones in detail.
LG X-Screen Specifications:
The LG X-Screen is powered by Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.2GHz each, although the chipset name is not clear for now. The device sports a 4.93-inches HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS In-Cell Touch display and a 1.76-inches (520 x 80 pixels) LCD secondary display. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 2TB. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with LG’s U.X overlaid on top.
On the camera department, we have a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash, and it can record videos on Full HD 1080p while on the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. As for the connectivity features is concerned, the device supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC. A 2,300mAh battery is on board.
LG X cam specifications:
The LG X-Cam sports a 5.2-inches Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) IPS In-Cell Touch display and is powered by 1.14GHz Octa-Core processor. We have 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory which is further expandable via a MicroSD card slot up to 2TB so storage shouldn’t be an issue. The LG X-Cam runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.
As sais above, the X-Cam mainly keeps its focus on the camera department with dual rear camera setup. There is a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear cameras with LED Flash and on the front, we have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and selfies. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC. A 2,520mAh battery is on board for all battery needs.
