ZOPO has announced the Speed 8 high-end smartphone at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona, The ZOPO Speed 8 is the first ever smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Deca-Core Helio X10Soc coupled with 4GB of Ram, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 and features a 21-megapixel rear camera on board. The ZOPO Speed 8 comes in black, white colors and is priced at $299 or Rs.20,560; it will go on for sale starting from April 12th, 2016. The ZOPO Speed 8 sports a massive 5.5-inches Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X20Soc Deca-Core processor with Mali T880 MP4 GPU, as we said above it is the first smartphone to come with MediaTek’s high-end chipset. It packs in 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage; you don’t get a MicroSD card slot, so 32GB internal storage is all you get. ZOPO Speed 8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.
The device features a 21-megapixel rear camera with Dual LED flash, PhaseDetectionAutoFocus, f/2.2 aperture, it features a Sony IMX230 sensor which is capable of focusing in under 0.2 seconds, thanks to PDAF. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash for better low-light selfies. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, NFC. A 3600mAH battery on board with fast charging support.
