These Asus Zenfone Smartphones To Get The Marshmallow 6.0 Update in March 2016

Companies like Sony, Huawei, Motorola, Samsung, LG have already announced the Marshmallow update for its smartphones line-up, and the updates are being rolled out gradually since then.  Asus has detailed the Marshmallow update for its Zenfone Smartphone back in November, and now the company has revealed the list of devices names that will be getting the Marshmallow update in March 2016. The Announcement in the Asus ZenTalk forum lists out the devices that are in the loop for the Android 6.0 update. The update will bring few design changes and bring new features like Doze, App permissions, Now-On-Tap and much more along with the sweetness of the Marshmallow U.I.

The List Of Asus Phones To Get Marshmallow update in March 2016:

  • PadFone S (PF500KL)
  • ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML, ZE551ML)
  • ZenFone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML)
  • ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition (ZE551ML)
  • ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE500KG, ZE500KL, ZE550KL, ZE551KL, ZE600KL, ZE601KL)
  • ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL)
  • ZenFone Max (ZC550KL)
  • ZenFone Zoom (ZX551ML)

Google Messenger, Calendar, and Gmail apps will automatically be included with the Android M update so these apps will replace the default ZenUI apps—ASUS Messenger, ASUS Mail and ASUS Calendar as the default apps in the Android M update. You can still download these Apps from Playstore if you wish to replace the default one’s. The other Zenfone smartphones will get the Marshmallow update in April 2016.
