CyanogenMod has released the Nightly CM 13 based on Android 6.0 to a bunch of smartphones back in November 2015; today the community has announced the Non-Nightly CM13 snapchat build based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow that brings new features of Android Marshmallow along with new set of CM features. The Cyanogen community has introduced four new, different scenarios for different devices with different CM build number. Now if you are already running on the CM 13, Cyanogen advice you to not to flash these builds as you are currently on the latest codebase i.e Android 6.0.1_r22, in case you attempt to flash these your smartphone might end up dead or an OS crash.
Cyanogen has released the new builds for Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Android One devices, OnePlus One, Moto E (2015), Oppo Find 7 and 7s, Oppo R7 Plus, Xiaomi Mi 4, LG G2, Nexus 7 and many more. Now talking about new features with the CM 13 build, it added fingerprint protection to access the content on the phone. Few high-end smartphones will now ship with Qualcomm’s Snap camera application with enhanced features and for the phones that doest not come with Snap camera support will retain the default camera application seen on CM 12.1. The new build will allow you to control layout and options directly via Quick Settings panel via ‘edit’ tile or long-press of settings gear in the pull-down area. The complete change log of the new CM 13 build is found on CyanogenMod community blog. Flash these at your risk, because the initial build are always buggy and unstable.
