LG might soon release the lite variant of the 2016’s flagship G5 in Latin American region; the device was earlier leaked via GFX benchmark and today it officially got certified by TEENA. Unlike the G5 which is powered by Snapdragon 820Soc, the G5 Lite will be powered by Snapdragon 652Soc coupled with 3GB of Ram instead of 4GB Ram found on the G5. Though for now we are calling it the Lite, LG might no settle for G5 lite when it goes official, so we will have to wait for the official launch to know more about it. The LG G5 Lite sports a 5.3-inches Quad HD(2560×1440 pixels) display that might have Corning Gorilla glass protection, the device is will also feature the Always On functionality that was seen on G5 earlier. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 652Soc clocked at 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 510 GPU.It packs in 3GB of Ram and 32GB internal storage we expect a MicroSD card slot as well given the fact that company’s flagship features one. The LG G5 Lite will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with LG U.X on top.

Talking about the camera, the LG G5 lit features a 16-megapixel rear camera with Dual Tone LED flash, Optical Image stabilization and it can record UHD 4K videos. It comes with an 8-megapixel secondary rear camera with 135-degree wide-angle. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera for selfies and video chats, and it can record Full HD 1080p videos. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi(2.4GHz+5GHz band), GPS, NFC is also on board. There is a 2,700mAH battery on board with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 on top. The company will roll out the G5 Lite in Brazil, Panama, Mexico and Chile soon.
