LG G5 To Go On For Sale in USA From April-Comes with extra battery and charging cradle


LG G5 was introduced at the MWC 2016 event back in February and later it mentioned that it will be the flagship in India in Q2 this year. Today LG has announced that it will launch the G5 in April in the USA along with LG Friends. The LG G5 will be available via may retailers and major carriers like  AT&T, Best Buy, Verizon, B&H, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and more, as an introductory offer, LG is also bundling a free battery and charging cradle. The company will announce the pricing and availability in the coming weeks, so we should know then. Let’s quickly recap the specifications of G5 once.

The LG  is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Quad-Core 64-bit processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU, It packs in 4GB of Ram and 32GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. The LG G5 sports a 5.3-inches Quad-HD (2560×1440 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and Always On feature.

In the camera department, the device features a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera with laser autofocus, dual-tone flash and it can record UHD 4K videos. While on the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C port. The device also packs a Fingerprint sensor, which is located down the rear camera module, where the pointing finger rests. A 2,800mAH user-removable battery on board with Qualcomm’s Quick charging 3.0. LG G5 Friends include an added camera module-The CamPlus module for extra controls, and it comes with 1200mAH built-in battery, B&O sound module for better audio experience, LG VR, 360 camera and more will hit the USA markets this April.
