Microsoft Now Rolling Out Windows 10 Update For Smartphones Running Windows 8.1

After so many uncalled delays, Microsoft has finally started rolling out Windows 10 mobile update for the smartphones running Windows 8.1. Though there is a delay in pushing the upgrade, Microsoft says that they are focusing giving high-quality user experience. Microsoft has already listed the smartphones that will get the Windows 10 mobile update, and it is said that MS is pushing the update only to the smartphones that can handle the Windows 10. To check whether your device will get the update or not, head over to Windows app store and download Windows 10 Upgrade Advisor App, which will let you know and keep in line for future updates.

The company is not pushing the update for older smartphones that might have a hard time handling the massive OS update. Windows 10 is the major upgrade over the Windows 8.1 it includes features like Continuum which lets you connect your phone to a monitor or a dock and once you are done connecting, your phone OS will adopt the large screen and provide native OS feel, this feature is only available on selected Windows smartphones.
