Reliance launched the LYF Wind 6 smartphone in India last month; the LYF Wind 6 comes with 5-inches FWVGA display and 1GB of Ram on board. The Reliance LFY Wind 6 comes in a black, white and gold color at a price of Rs.7,090 and is currently available in India through various retail outlets and Reliance digital showrooms, it also comes with a transparent back cover within the package. Let’s quickly look at the specifications of the Reliance LYF Wind 6 in detail.
Reliance LYF Wind 6 specifications:
The Reliance LYF Wind 6 sports a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, we would have loved a 720p panel over the FWVGA panel. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210Soc clocked at 1.1Ghz Quad-Core processor with Adreno 304 GPU for all the gaming needs. It packs in 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, so storage shouldn’t be an issue unless you don’t have move to SD card option. The Reliance LYF Wind 6 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop right out of the box.
Talking about the camera, the device features a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and on the front, we have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G LTE with VoLTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. On top, we have 3.5mm audio jack and it also has support for FM Radio. A 2250mAh battery is on board for all battery requirements. Considering the price and specifications, we feel that the device is a bit overpriced given the fact that Rs.7,000 price range is a tough spot with many familiar brands competing with each other for quite some time now. Stay tuned for more such coverage.
