Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy J3(2016), successor to the last year’s J3 at an event in Delhi. The device comes with S bikers mode that connects via NFC; the S Bikers mode lets you pre-record a message for the callers to let them know that you are riding and unable to take calls at that moment,  the motion lock feature will ensure you stop your ride before taking the call. It can be activated during an emergency just by tapping the NFS tag. Samsung’s goal with this new feature is to provide safety for bike riders. Apart from this, the device came with 5-inches HD SUPER AMOLED display and powered by Spreadtrum processor with 1.5GB Ram. The Samsung Galaxy J3(2016) is priced at Rs.8,999 and is available via Snapdeal starting from today. Let’s check the specifications of the device.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 sports a 5-inches HD (1280×720 Pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by Spreadtrum SC9830Soc clocked at 1.5 GHz quad-core 64-bit processor with Mali-400 GPU. It packs in 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB internal memory with a MicroSD card for memory expansion up to 128GB. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with new TouchWiz U.I on top.

Talking about the camera, the device features an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and on the front; there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, USB OTG. 2600mah battery is on board. The device comes with Ultra Data Saving feature that will compress the data usage across all contents; the UDS feature is powered by OperaMax. Vodafone is offering double data offer for 4G customers for 6 months and 1GB of data for 3G users for two months.
