Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi 5 flagship in India and unlike what many of us expected, Xiaomi has just launched the 3GB Ram and 32GB variant in India. The Xiaomi Mi 5 was announced earlier at MWC 2016 and at an event in China month ago. The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 5.15-inches Full HD 1080p display and powered by Snapdragon 820Soc coupled with 4GB of Ram. It is priced at Rs.24,999 for the 3GB Ram+32GB variant in India and will be available in Black, White and Gold colors via Mi.com/in, the first flash sale is scheduled on April 6th. The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 5.15-inches Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) curved glass display with 95% of the NTSC color gamut, 600 nits brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820Soc clocked at 1.8Ghz Quad-Core 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU. it packs in 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Xiaomi’s MiUi 7.0 on top.

In the camera department, the Xiaomi Mi 5 rocks a 16-megapixel rear Sony IMX298 camera sensor with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus, 4-axis Optical Image Stabilization which is a stand out feature in the Mi 5, and it can also record 4K videos with 15 frames per second. On the front, it has a 4-megapixel Ultra pixel camera for selfies and video calls. It also comes with a Fingerprint scanner on the home button for better security and also Infrared sensor on the top to control electronic devices. Connectivity features include 4G LTE with VoLTE that connects to network real quick, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port for fast data transfers. A 3,000mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support but the bundled charger only supports Quick charge 2.0.
