Just last week we have seen an import listing that revealed a YU smartphone that comes powered by MediaTek chipset, 6-inch 1080p display. Today we see yet another YU smartphone that is leaked via the importing listing and unlike the earlier YU Yu6000 smartphone, the newly revealed YU YU5200 sports a 5.2-inches 1080 display and is powered by Snapdragon 615Soc. Last YU smartphone we have seen with the same chipset was YU Yureka and Yureka Plus.
Yu YU5200 Rumored Specifications:
The YU5200 sports a 5.2-inches Full HD(1920*1080) IPS display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615Soc clocked at 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 405 GPU.It packs 3GB of Ram, unlike the Yureka which had just 2GB, A 16gb Internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB. It is likely that the new Yu budget smartphone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop instead of the Marshmallow, but might get the update in the future.
It packs a 13-megapixel autofocus rear with LED flash that can record 1080p videos and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. Going by the recent revelations, YU is trying to get back into the budget game where it lost control with recent Chinese entries like LeEco, Coolpad and Lenovo. The YU6000 is the bigger among the both but going by the listed specs it feature age old chipset(MediaTek MT6753), and the new addition, the YU5200 also floats the same boat with Snapdragon 615. The YU5200 is imported to India for Rs.9,036 so it should be priced under Rs.10,000 when it goes official. Stay tuned for ore such info.
