Apple has officially launched the iPhone SE smartphone in India; the device is priced at Rs 39,000 for the 16GB variant, and the 64GB variant is priced at Rs.49,000. Though Apple mentioned that it will price the 16GB variant at Rs.30,000, it later revised the price. It is available via distributors Redington India, Ingram Micro and Rashi Peripherals in offline. The new iPhone SE sports a compact 4-inches display with 640 x 1136 resolution and is powered by Apple’s A9 chipset clocked at 1.85GHz Dual Core Twister processor with PowerVR GT7600 GPU. The device comes in two different variants, one with 16GB internal storage and another with 64GB storage. The iPhone SE runs on latest iOS 9.3 operating system right out of the box.

In the camera department, the device features a 12-megapixel camera sensor (seen on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus) it can also record UHD 4K videos and on the front, we have a 1.2-megapixel camera for selfies, the retina flash feature that will momentarily brighten the screen while taking a selfie. The home button also poses as the Touch ID fingerprint sensor for better security of data. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi AC Dual Band, Single SIM, No MicroSD expansion.
