Looks like Xiaomi is busy prepping a phablet device that sports a massive 6.4-inches display and it is the largest device for Xiaomi till date. The display surface of the smartphone allegedly leaked online a while ago. The Xiaomi Max sports a 6.4-inches and might feature a 2560×1440 QHD display and is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820Soc with 4GB of Ram and 64GB internal storage or may be even more.
Going by the reports, the device might come with metal unibody design and also might have a Fingerprint sensor on the rear side as there is no sign of a Physical home button up front instead we can see three touch type capacitive buttons. Talking of the front panel, the Xiaomi Max comes with a routine design with slim bezels, front facing camera, the usual set of proximity and ambient light sensor, and finally the main ear piece. Being a phablet device, we naturally expect a huge battery unit which may not be user removable. Connectivity features will include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. No information on the camera sensors and resolutions.
For now, all we have is the leaked display panel image, nothing else is official. So stay tuned for more info on Xiaomi Max which might be launched sometime in May 2016.
