Huawei is busy prepping an affordable smartphone that might go official very soon; the device has been certified in China on TEENA, which is mandatory for any smartphone to pass by. The Certification gives us an a glimpse of the smartphone’s design. So, let’s dig into the details. The design of the smartphone looks a bit similar to the Huawei Honor 5C and on the back side you find a fingerprint sensor coupled with 13MP rear camera sensor.


The Huawei Honor 5C sports a 5.2-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by Huawei Kirin 650 Soc clocked at 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor. It packs in 2GB RAM and 16GB storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. The Honor 5C runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Emui on the top.

Talking about the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera wit LED flash and on the front; there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. And below the rear camera sensor, As said above it comes with a Fingerprint sensor for better security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and MicroUSB port. A 2900mAH battery on board. Reports suggest that Huawei might be launching the smartphone on April 28th in China initially and will gradually roll out to other markets.
