Meizu has announced the MX 5 smartphone last year and now the company has introduced the MX5e smartphone in the MX series. The MX5e is the trim down variant of the MX 5, it feature a 16-megapixel camera, 3GB Ram and powered by MediaTek Helio X10Soc. The latest MX5e comes in Gold and White/Silver colors and is priced at 1499 Yuan or $231 for the 16GB variant while the 32GB variant is priced at 1699 Yuan or $262. The MX5e sports a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection and is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-Core 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU. It packs in 3GB RAM and 16/32GB internal memory variants, and it doesn’t come with a MicroSD card slot, so you are stuck with the internal memory. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Flyme OS 4.5.
Talking about the camera, the device features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, Laser Autofocus, 6P lenses and can record 4K videos. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture for a better low-light selfie and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G LTE 3G HSPA+, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. A 3150mAh battery with mCharge support.
