HTC India has finally launched in India today; the device was initially introduced last month globally. It sports a 5.2-inches Quad HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820Soc coupled with 4GB Ram and 32GB onboard storage; it runs on Android 6.0.1 marshmallow right out of the box. The HTC 10 comes in Carbon Grey and Topaz Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 52,990 in India. It will be available in the country from June 2016. Let’s check out the specifications of the device in detail.


The HTC 10 sports a compact 5.2-inches Quad HD SUPER LCD with 2.5D curved glass and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Quad-Core 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU.  It packs in 4GB of Ram and 32/64GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 2TB. The HTC 10 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense 8.0 U.I overlaid on top; The new improved Sense U.I  lets you place Stickers all over the wallpaper, and each sticker represents an application.

Talking about the camera, there is a 12-megapixel HTC ultra pixel rear camera sensor with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AutoFocus, OIS, PDAF, 1.55um pixels, f/1.8 aperture and can record 4K videos right out of the box. Up front, a 5-megapixel Ultrapixel shooter with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, HTC says the 10 is the first Dual OIS smartphone. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. The front home button has a Fingerprint sensor embedded, and it can unlock the device real fast. The device houses a 3000mAH battery with Quick charge 3.0 out of the box. The HTC 10 features a full metal body design and comes with 24-bit hi-res audio technology; we also get HTC’s traditional Boomsound speakers with Dolby audio support and three noise cancellation microphones.
