Panasonic Eluga I2 was launched in India last year in August; the company has introduced the 2GB and 3GB Ram variants in India compared to the 1GB Ram on original Eluga I2. The new upgraded model also comes with an improved 5-megapixel front camera and supports 4G VoLTE with support for Indian specific LTE bands – 3, 5 and 40. Rest of the device specifications do remain the same. The Panasonic Eluga I2 Metallic Silver, Metallic Gold and Metallic Grey colors and is priced at Rs. 7,990 for the 2GB RAM variant and the 3GB Ram is priced at Rs. 8,990. The Panasonic Eluga I2 sports a 5-inches HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS Oncell touch display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB / 3GBRAM and 16GB internal memory with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Panasonic FitHome UI.
Talking about the camera, the device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for better low-light selfies. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. A 2000mAh battery is on board.
