Honor 8 Smartphone Running Android 6.0, 4GB Ram To Go Official in July

Huawei has launched the Honor V8 smartphone earlier last month and now the company gearing up to introduce the Honor 8 which is a smaller variant of the device. The Honor 8 sports a 5.2-inches 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by Kirin 955 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB Ram. The Huawei Honor 8 might be priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 304 / Rs. 20,460 approx.) for the base variant and go up to 2799 (US$ 425 / Rs. 28,652 approx.) for the 128GB variant with a Quad HD display. The smartphone is expected to go official on July 5th.

The Huawei Honor 8 sports a 5.2-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD  and the high-end model features a Quad HD (2560 × 1440 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by Kirin 955Soc clocked at 2.5GHz Octa-Core processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU. It packs a 4GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage variants with a MiroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top.

Talking about the camera, the device features a 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The Honor 8 comes with a Fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor, connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. A 3200mAh with fast charging on board.
