Huawei has just announced the Honor 5A just as it promised. The latest budget smartphone from Huawei sports a 5.5-inch HD display, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. The device features a 13-megapixel rear camera; it supports 4G VoLTE. The Huawei Honor 5A comes in black, white, blue and gold colors and is priced at 699 yuan (US$ 106 / Rs. 7130 approx.) for the standard version and 799 yuan (US$ 121 / Rs. 8150 approx.) for the China Unicom, China Telecom model. The Honor 5A will be available for order starting today through vmall and will go on sale in China from June 17th. Let’s check out the specifications of the device in detail.

The Huawei Honor 5A sports a 5-inches HD (1280 x 720) display with 178-degree viewing angle, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and tempered glass protection. Powered by Huawei’s own made Kirin 620Soc clocked at 1.2GHz Octa-Core processor with Mali 450 GPU or Qualcomm Snapdragon 617Soc clocked at 1.5Ghz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It packs in 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Emotion UI 4.1 (EMUI) on top.

Talking about the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony/OmniVision sensor, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle lens and on the front; there is an 8-megapixel camera with Sony/Hynix BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture for better selfies and video calls. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. A 3,100mAh lithium polymer battery is on board for all battery requirements.
