Motorola launched the G4 and G4 Plus smartphone in India last month, and the G4 Plus variant went on for sale the same day via Amazon for Rs.14,999 for the 3GB Ram model and during its launch, Motorola has announced that the G4 will go on for sale this month. Today the company has officially launched the device in India for Rs.12,499 and will be exclusively available via Amazon.In starting from tonight.


The Motorola Moto G4 sports a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617Soc clocked at 1.5GHz Octa-Core processor with Adreno 405 GPU. It packs in 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. Being a Motorola phone, it’s quite obvious that it runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow right out of the box.

Talking about the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, and it can record videos on full HD 1080p. While on the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor for selfies and video calls. Just like the Moto G3, the upcoming G4 will also be a Water resistant device. Connectivity features include 4G LTE/3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC Optional. 3000mah battery is on board.
