Panasonic has announced the Toughpad FZ-A2 Rugged tablet; it is the tablet that is targeted at enterprise audience. It has a ruggedized magnesium alloy body and is also shock resistant that can withstand a drop from the 120cm height and is also IP65 rated with dust and water-resistant. The Tablet sports a 10.1-inches WUXGA IPS display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 starts at 939 GBP (US$ 1330 / Rs. 89,400) and will be available from July 2016. The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 sports a 10.1-inches WUXGA (1920×1200 pixels) IPS 10-finger multi-touch outdoor display (up to 800cd/m²) and is powered by Intel Atom x5-Z8550Soc clocked at 1.44GHz Processor (up to 2.4GHz) with Intel HD graphics 400. It packs in 4GB RAM and 32GB Internal memory with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.

In the camera department, the device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a Full HD front camera for video calls. It also has an Integrated business expansion module (Smartcard Reader, Hot Swap battery, NFC) optional. Connectivity features include 4G (Optional), WiFi 802.11ac (Dual-Band), Bluetooth v4.2, USB 3.0 Type A, USB 3.1 Type C OTG, HDMI and GPS. The tablet gives up to 9 hours battery life with user replaceable battery unit.
