Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi Max smartphone in India; the device went official in China earlier last month and today it hits the Indian markets. The Mi Max sports a 6.44-inches FullHD display and the base model is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650Soc coupled with 3GB Ram and the high-end variant comes with 4GB Ram and Snapdragon 652. The Xiaomi Mi Max comes in gold, silver and light grey colors and is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 3GB of RAM version and Rs.19,99 for the Snapdragon 652, 4GB of RAM version. It will go on sale through mi.com starting from July 6th and the registrations for the sale will begin today. Though the device will be available via Flash sale on 6th, it will go on for open sale from 13th July through Amazon.In, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ and Paytm. The Xiaomi Mi Max sports a 6.44-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1000: 1 contrast ratio, 72% NTSC color gamut and the display comes with Corning Gorilla glass three protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650Soc with Adreno 510 GPU coupled with 3GB Ram and 32GB internal storage and an another variant with Snapdragon 652Soc with Adreno 510 GPU coupled with 4GB Ram and 128GB internal storage, and the internal storage can be further expanded via a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. The Mi Max runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Talking about the camera, the device features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The device rocks a Fingerprint sensor for extra and enhanced security of the phone. Connectivity features include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS. A 4850mAh (typical) / 4760mAh (minimum) battery is on board for all battery requirements.
