Hugo Barra of Xiaomi has just tweeted about the Mi Max phablet launch in India on June 30th; the phablet will be officially launching in India on June 30th. Although the device comes in three different variants; the 3GB Ram and 32GB Rom model(Snapdragon 650Soc), 3GB Ram and 64GB Rom and 4GB Ram with 128GB internal storage it is not clear which model will launch in India on June 30th. We should know the availability, model that is going to launch and pricing on the day.
XIAOMI MI MAX SPECS:
The Xiaomi Mi Max sports a 6.44-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1000: 1 contrast ratio, 72% NTSC color gamut and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650Soc and an another variant with Snapdragon 652Soc with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes in three different models; the basic one packs in 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, another variant with 3GB Ram and 64GB while the high-end variant packs an extra gig of Ram, 4GB of Ram and 128GB internal storage and the storage can be further expanded via a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. The Mi Max runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Talking about the camera, the device features a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The device rocks a Fingerprint sensor for extra and enhanced security of the phone. Connectivity features include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS. A 4850mAh (typical) / 4760mAh (minimum) battery is on board for all battery requirements.
