Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Pro smartphone at an event in China just as it promised, the device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p OLED 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X20/X25 Deca-Core processor coupled with 3/4GB Ram and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Miui 8 on top. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro comes in Gold, Silver and Gray colors and is priced at 1499 yuan (US$ 224 / Rs. 15,110 approx.) for the base model that come with Helio X20 SoC, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant. The Helio X25Soc, 3GB Ram variant is priced at 1699 yuan (US$ 254 / Rs. 17,130 approx.), and finally, the premium version with Helio X25 SoC, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 299 / Rs. 20,150 approx.). The Xiaomi Redmi Pro sports a 5.5-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) OLED 2.5D curved glass display, up to 100% NTSC color gamut, 60000:1 contrast ratio. Powered by MediaTek Helio X20Soc for the base variant and Helio X25Soc for the high-end model with Mali-T880MP4 GPU coupled with 3GB Ram and 32GB storage on the entry level model and an another variant with 3GB Ram and 64GB internal storage. The high-end model comes with 4GB Ram and 128GB internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top.
Talking about the camera, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX258 sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with Samsung sensor. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, 85-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro comes with a Fingerprint Sensor and Infrared sensor on board. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C.
