Zopo has introduced the Speed 8 smartphone back during MWC 2016 event; today the company has officially launched the device in India. It is the first phone to be powered by 10-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset coupled with 4GB Ram and 32GB internal storage. The ZOPO Speed 8 comes in Black and Silver colors and is priced at Rs. 29,999. It will be available through online retailers including Flipkart and from offline retailers as well.


The ZOPO Speed 8 sports a massive 5.5-inches Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X20Soc Deca-Core processor with Mali T880 MP4 GPU, as we said above it is the first smartphone to come with MediaTek’s high-end chipset. It packs in 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage; you don’t get a MicroSD card slot, so 32GB internal storage is all you get. ZOPO Speed 8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.

The device features a 21-megapixel rear camera with Dual LED flash, PhaseDetectionAutoFocus, f/2.2 aperture; it features a Sony IMX230 sensor which is capable of focusing in under 0.2 seconds, thanks to PDAF. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash for better low-light selfies. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, NFC. A 3600mAH battery on board with fast charging support. The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor down below the rear camera module.
